This lavishly illustrated presentation invites you to explore the rich heritage of Jeanne Lanvin, a visionary couturière and ingenious businesswoman who revolutionized the world of haute couture and the Art Deco movement itself. From her early beginnings as a milliner to opening her celebrated couture house on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Lanvin was soon the toast of le tout Paris. She realized that fragrance was a woman’s ultimate accessory, and so, the legendary perfume Arpège was born. Join us as Angel Poveda, Global Education Manger at Lanvin, traces the extraordinary career and enduring influence of this remarkable designer.

About the Speaker: 

Based in Paris, Lanvin’s Global Education Manager Angel Poveda graduated with honors from a leading school of Fashion Design and History in Spain. He has accumulated more than ten years’ experience in the luxury and fashion industry, collaborating with prestigious couture houses such as Christian Dior, Prada, and now, Lanvin.
