About the Program:

In the 1930s, the federal government, trade unions, and insurance companies financed the construction of innovative and affordable housing throughout New York City.  Discover some of the finest Art Deco complexes, including the Amalgamated Dwellings on the Lower East Side, Celtic Park in Queens, Harlem River Houses in northern Manhattan, and Parkchester in the Bronx.
