About the Program:
Join ADSNY for this exclusive, evening exhibition tour of the New-York Historical Society's new superb exhibition The Art of Winold Reiss: An Immigrant Modernist, which showcases 150 works––many of which are on view for the first time.
In addition to affirming Reiss's impact on American Modernism through his paintings, drawings, graphic design, interior design, and the decorative arts, this insightful tour will shed light on Reiss’s emphasis of the immigrant perspective, including many works depicting New York’s cultural and artistic diversity during our favorite period.
Sign up today to get an immersive tour of this special exhibition, which is largely based on new research, intended to revive Reiss’s extensive artistic legacy. We will see previously unexhibited paintings, magazine designs, book covers, advertisement and furniture, as well as drawings of restarting interiors.

To take advantage of our discounted member rate, your ADSNY membership must be valid the date of the event. If your membership expires between the time of event registration and the date of the event, you will be asked to renew your membership or pay the additional fee at the non-member price.
