About the Program:
Join ADSNY for our first ever informal evening meetup that will be filled with good music, delicious cocktails, and great company at Swing 46 Jazz & Supper club.
Inspired by our online Harlem’s Jazz Age: The Syncopated Rhythm of Outsiders program on Tuesday, July 26, at 6:30 PM (EDT), ADSNY is thrilled to have the opportunity to gather and enjoy the music and ambience of the Jazz Age with our Deco friends. Swing 46, on historic Restaurant Row in Times Square, embodies the Art Deco era supper club atmosphere with its option for cocktails and/or dining and opportunity to socialize and enjoy to live music together. ADSNY's members and their guests are invited to mingle at ADSNY's group table in an evening reminiscence of Harlem's Jazz Age. And, if you'd like to show off your moves, there will be a chance to take to the dance floor and swing to 1920s, 30s, and 40s inspired Jazz beats.
As part of the informal meetup you have the opportunity to purchase light bites, dessert, entrees, and/or cocktails. As we enjoy our meals, sip our cocktails, and enjoy each other's company, the Jazz Quartet featuring American jazz singer and songwriter Deanna Kirk will be preforming a number of original songs with beats inspired by Swing Era classics.
Please note this is an informal event where ADSNY is securing a group table only. While ADSNY is not charging a fee for this event, advanced registration is required so that we can secure a table. Each attendee will be responsible for their own $10.00 cover charge and a $35.00 minimum food and beverage tab at Swing 46. ADSNY Members and their guests are welcome––guests musts be registered by the member so that we know how many people to expect and have the appropriate number of seats reserved. Current Safety Protocol for this Event:
We look forward to having you join us for this in-person meetup! By registering for this event you agree to follow Swing 46’s safety protocol. Anyone who does not comply will be asked to leave the event. ADSNY’s is following Swing 46’s COVID-19 guidelines which apply to ALL attendees.
- VACCINATIONS: Swing 46 no longer requires proof of vaccination.
- FACE COVERINGS: In accordance with the CDC’s recommendation, face masks are not required.
- IF YOU ARE UNWELL: Stay home if you are feeling sick or symptomatic. If you have been in contact with someone with related symptoms or who has tested positive within the last 14 days also stay home
- COVID RISK: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. Those joining ADSNY'S in-person programming do so at their own risk to such exposure

We cannot accommodate any walk-ups for this event, so please be sure to register in advance if you would like to attend.

- ADSNY does not permit animals at events unless they are a registered service animal
- All ADSNY programs are non-smoking events. Smoking will not be permitted
