Join the Art Deco Society of New York, Marisa de Lempicka, and Colette Laroya for a very special, recorded video event celebrating the life and legacy of the renowned and trailblazing artist, Tamara de Lempicka.
In this recorded video presentation—which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home at a time that best fits your schedule—Marisa shares stunning images of her great-grandmother, the remarkable artist Tamara de Lempicka, and the pioneering work that shows how Tamara's paintings defined Art Deco and her life epitomized the Jazz Age. The presentation even includes a number of little-known works by the acclaimed artist and exclusive photographs from family albums.
In this visually stimulating presentation we explore the artist's dazzling talent, striking beauty, irresistible force of personality, and her ability to achieve success on her own terms. This talk gives an in-depth look at how the refugee of the Russian Revolution conquered 1920s Paris.
You won't want to miss Marisa's intimate insight into this fascinating figure of the Jazz Age. She shares Tamara’s own stories, just as the artist related them to rapt audiences during her lifetime, while also incorporating much additional biographical and historical information.
